Looking is free and stays free. What costs money is reaching the person behind an owner, and running more than one deal at a time.
The $99 is locked, not introductory
$199 a month is what Pro is sold at from here on. $99 is the founding rate, and an account that takes it keeps it for as long as the subscription runs — the locked price is written once when you first pay and is never rewritten, so a list-price rise does not reach you.
If you go past the plan
Extra units are bought one at a time rather than as a bigger tier: $5 for another property, $50 to cover the whole area around one property, and $10 for another chunk of calling and texting. Nothing auto-charges past your plan.
A whole-area unlock buys coverage of that property permanently: every owner lookup on that deal is included afterwards, and the deal page stays open regardless of plan.
Questions people ask
Do I need a card to start?
No. One property and one buyer list are free, and the address search on the buyers page needs no account at all.
Is the free tier a trial that expires?
No, it is a fixed allowance rather than a clock: one property and one buyer list. It does not run out after a number of days.
What happens if my card fails?
You keep Pro while the payment is being retried. Only an actual cancellation removes it — a bounced card is a billing problem, not a reason to pull the dialer out of your hand mid-call.
Why is an owner lookup $1 instead of included?
Because each one costs us money at a data vendor. Pricing it per lookup means you spend it on the handful of buyers you would actually call rather than paying a subscription premium to cover people who trace thousands.
Can I cancel whenever I want?
Yes. Anything you bought outright — a property, a whole-area unlock — stays yours; the monthly allowances stop.
